Blame on the last-minute change of plan that happened last week, I had to transit in Changi for 6.5 hours. Obviously, who wouldn’t be nagging about this for having to confine yourself in such huge, state-of-the-art buildings. But nah, I wouldn’t mind at all actually considering that I’m just a simple, “Ah, whatever” guy. Well, at least I got the chance to relate myself in the terminal with one of my favourite movies of all time, The Terminal.

True of what one of my friends told me that the only thing you can do in Changi is shopping. Hmm… not really. There are so much things that you can do there like Wi-fi, playing Xbox 360 or PS3 games at the Entertainment Deck, watching movies at an on-screen cinema, or even sitting on massage chairs at the Oasis, all for free. There’s even a real F1 Renault car on display in Terminal 2.

Instead of wasting my time with those stuff I can enjoy when at home, I decided to explore the whole of Terminal 2 building before heading towards the new Terminal 3 building, where my flight will depart from.

It was fun walking around while doing the people watching thingy while brushing off the side effect of my slightly-larger hiking shoes. Heck I even encountered lots of WYD08 pilgrims at the airport. And for the first time in my life, I saw the real Airbus A380 from Terminal 3,which was scheduled to fly to San Francisco.

OK enough of the yak yak yak. The whole experience there is a must for anyone who hasn’t been exploring the whole Changi airport and it’s worthwhile if you have a travel-mind like mine. ![]()
