Ah, it feels so good to be back home in Kuching. Since then, I had been spending around RM20 worth of petrol for one full day of driving up to the city and circling around here and there, looking for any new interesting places. There’s this new hype which I was looking forward to and it’s called Secret Recipe.
West Malaysians definitely familiarize themselves with the name itself and everyone has been saying that you definitely cannot miss their delicious cakes that has won them many awards in the food and beverages industry.
Situated just opposite the MAS building, this new branch was opened just few months ago and it has straight away gained good critics from the folks here. So I ordered a slice of chocolate cheese cake and a drink of frosty ice lemon.
And you know what? The chocolate cheese cake is definitely the best cheese cake I’ve tasted so far in my life. It’s damn cheesy that I had a bad stomach ache hours after that since I’m lactose intolerant. Who cares? It tasted damn delicious that I might get the whole cake for my 21th birthday. And do you know that a slice of cheese cake is the cheapest among other local hypes here?
Frosty ice lemon’s not bad at all but I only went there to try out their delicious cakes that shot them up to fame. Trust me, you’ll be stupid enough if you don’t try out their cakes.
Forget their side dishes. Just try their freaking cakes!
