Blog to Vain, For Vainers

What do you think when you read the title of this post? I think you get the main idea of what I’m trying to say here. For the past 7 months, there have been lots of changes to the blogging atmosphere. I observed that many new comers, especially the young people, are setting up blogs just to get the name and glamour. Just 2 words to describe it, show off.

There are a few symptoms that can be detected to know if a blogger is vain:

He/She puts stupid sensitive posts to have a blog war and thus, attract flammers to fill up the number of comments regarding a post.

He/She is trying to get the flammers who are having blog war on an issue posted up by a blogger, INTO his/her website. Like how? Defending the poor-scrutinized blogger by asking the flammers to flame his/her blog instead.

He/She posts up excessive vain images of themselves on the main page of his/her blog, with additional posings to act COOL. It just made me feel want to vomit onto that person’s face in real life.

He/She writes comments on any stranger blogs by saying “Hi! This is my website” or “Hey, check out my blog!” or just a simple “Whazup?!” .

How pathetic, in the name of traffic.

Get a life, vain bloggers.

    hey Kenjj,
i gotta agree with what u say here, those bloggers are just trying to get into the “game”, but then everyone has to start somewhere, but over-doing something is just not the way to go.
its difficult to find new good blogs with good contents nowadays.

Hey! Whazzup!!! Nice blog, visit mine too!!!

    LOL!

THose kind of comments is in my spam list. Hah. IP ban, URL ban, name ban. I am so evil… muahahahaha :P

Talking about blog war and flame war, it is the easiest way to get traffic, which is why most “traffic-desperate-whore” did that. Try writing bad about Kenny Sia or Xia Xue, I am sure you’ll flamed and creamed by those blogberity’s fans. Yea, imagine those fans visited your blog. Easy way to get traffic, everyone wants that. Including me.

I find your blog very interesting. Very helpful for my work. Check out mine.

    Hahaha.

Nice one. I could say that you shouldn’t delete the last one because there are bloggers who really try to show off that they have updated their blogs.. just for the sake of readers, traffic and comments - and there’s a friend of mine who likes to write bulletin posts in friendster telling people that he has updated his blog. duh. how pathetic.

“Hey guys, I have updated my blog!! Come and read it! It’s about …..bla bla bla..”
