A day before I went to Miri on July 11, I was buying some Sarawak handicraft souvenirs along the main bazaar street when I found out the existence of Deli Cafe. I was learnt that the cafe started its business since last year.

It was raining heavily at that time, so I decided to have a cup of coffee there while waiting for the rain to calm. Deli Cafe offers both varieties of drinks and pasteries, specially for those who wanted to chill out from the traffic jams after working hours. Anyway, I had a go for expresso together with a slice of chocolate cake. Tasted the expresso…bitter as usual…and the caffeine kicks me out totally from fatigue.

Even though the place is not as poshy as bing!’s, it has this simple deco that makes visitors to feel comfortable with smooth alternative music on the go. They also have wiFi connectivity available for those who wanted to serve the internet.

I just finished sipping my expresso when I saw SingleTrackMind, another Kuchingnite who made a big impact on the local music industry, sitting at the back of the cafe. Without leaving any chances off, I caught up with him and had some bla bla bla.

I watched an unreleased video clip of his song called Seventeen through his iBook. Some of his video clips can be found in YouTube, using the keyword of singletrackmind. Anyway, here is the video clip of Seventeen:

I even got the chance to listen to some of the songs from his upcoming album that will be released on the fall of this year (around September - November). I can’t wait to get a hold of his album towards the end of this year. A great pleasure to know you, SingleTrackMind.
