Happy Chinese New Year! Even though the celebration for this year is still not that exciting compared to those previous years, but the fireworks display contributed by the neighbourhood here were the best I have seen so far until now and it lasted for an hour.

This is just a starter nia

Looks like a World War 3

Wonderful sight

The best of them all, the final display
CNY is also the chance for every house in the neighbourhood to show off who got the most decorative CNY thingy. There is a house few blocks away from our house that put too much CNY decorations till it looks like a night club from outside, serious! Nah…people who decorate it have their own limit of appreciation on what is CNY all about. Sometimes I’m jealous when our house has, in fact, the most simplest CNY decoration in the neighbourhood.

Simple, and that’s a very old, high quality banner that is very hard to find nowadays
As part of our family tradition, we had mee sua for breakfast on the first 3 days of CNY. There were lots of guests visited us today but most of them are my mom’s friends. So yea, there are more to come from grandma and dad’s side for tomorrow.
Today is also the day Kristy went back to Perth and I’m gonna truly miss her once again………………
